Hello! I am Sharon Whitney, an illustrator and graphic designer based in DFW.

Hi, I'm Sharon Whitney, an illustrator and emerging graphic designer. My artistic journey began in early childhood, in Sherman, Texas, where I developed a passion for art, inspired by my brother's drawings, my mother's heritage, and my grandmother's teachings.

In high school, I discovered graphic design and began honing my skills. After graduating from Grayson College, I took some time off to work at USPS. A conversation with my boss reignited my passion for art, leading me to enroll at the University of North Texas. Here, I'm pursuing a major in Interdisciplinary Arts and Design with a minor in Advertising.

I've worked on various projects, including illustrations for children's books and branding materials. I enjoy using traditional mediums like watercolor and gouache, as well as digital tools like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. I'm always seeking new challenges to expand my creative horizons.

In my spare time, I love learning languages, hiking, traveling, and spending time with my partner.

I'm excited to continue my journey in the arts and design, and I look forward to creating impactful and inspiring work.
